The Kent Test will now take place in September 2024.

Registration for the Kent Test for children due to start secondary school in September 2025 opens on Monday 3 June 2024 and closes at midnight on Monday 1 July 2024. Late registrations cannot be accepted.

This year, the test will take place on Thursday 12 September 2024 in St Eanswythe's School.

The results will be sent on Thursday 17 October 2024.

If you are considering grammar school as a secondary school option for your child it is important that you apply as they will not be eligible to take the Kent Test or be considered for a grammar school place if you do not complete the application process.

Information for registering for the Shepway Test can be found on the websites for The Harvey Grammar School (here) and The Folkestone School for Girls (here).  The Shepway Test Registration form will be available on the Folkestone School for Girls website from  June to 16th July.

To enable us to keep a record of children expected to take the Kent Test, please could we ask that you email the school office once you have applied.
