Year 6 Imperial War Museum

This term we are learning about different aspects of WWI in both History and Literacy. So last Wednesday we went to London to visit The Imperial War Museum. We took the train to Waterloo East and walked 15 minutes to get to the museum, it was a lovely day and so we ate our lunches on the lawns outside before going in to look at the exhibitions. Once inside there were so many things to see and do, it was great to hear so many children say that it was awesome and that they wanted to come again! It was a very eventful trip and on the way home we wrote about things we knew already and had found in the museum, a fact that we didn't know before going in and something that we found the most interesting. A great day was had by all.
