This week in science, Year 5 have been learning about the pollination process and how flowering plants reproduce. They are now able to name all the parts of a flowering plant and know their functions- so make sure you quiz them!
They were given flowers to dissect and were able to sort each part and name them. The children were very shocked to find the tiny ovules inside the ovary!
It was safe to say, our classroom smelt quite fresh at the end of this lesson!
