As part of our topic, we learnt about ancient Britons building and using stone monuments and henges. We talked about what they might have been used for and when they might have been visited. We learnt that they were often built aligned with the sun and yearly solstices. We looked at lots of photos of Stone Henge with the sun shining between the stones and created some art inspired by these photos. Our amazing pictures are currently on display outside our classroom.
