Year 1 Easter Art

In Year 1 this term we have been trying to answer the question 'Why is Easter important to Christians?'. We have been picking apart the Easter story and learning all about what happened, through art and drama! Here are our creations, inspired by the three crosses which are often used to symbolise the Easter story. To make these, we first taped out the hill and the crosses. Then we painted the background with watercolours. Finally, we had to peel the tape off to reveal the picture left behind, which was very tricky and we had to be super patient and careful!
