To celebrate World Book Day, Year 5 and Ducklings started the day with a trip to the book shop. We walked to Waterstones and Year 5 carefully helped their buddies select a book.
Later in the afternoon, we had a craft session and made book buddies. There were some super creative ideas. The children worked carefully together to produce some excellent bookmarks!
Year 5 then had their guest reader... Mr. Brinkley! The children were very excited and he has even agreed to come back and finish the book next week! Lucky Year 5!
All in all, a very enjoyable World Book Day all round!
