Wheelchair Sports in Year 6

Yesterday Year 6 went to the Three Hills to experience wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball. The class really picked up maneuvering the chairs quickly and carefully around the hall and then attempted that all again with a tennis racket. We discovered that the basketball was a little easier as you could sit the ball on your lap and use both hands on the wheels. A huge thank you to Ben and Martin, who coach the Arrows wheelchair basketball team, for being patient and encouraging with us all. It was a fantastic experience.
