The whole school had a real treat. They headed to Life Church to watch a performance by the Watoto choir. The choir is a group of Ugandan children who were all orphaned at a young age.
The charity, takes the children in; places them into families and brings them up giving them some amazing opportunities. Many of their children have gone on to become doctors, pilots, nurses and teachers. Jobs they would never have had access to previously.
We were entertained and wowed by some amazing singing and dancing. Some of our children even got the chance to join the choir on stage and try out some of the complicated dance moves. It was great fun.
There is an open invitation to families to attend a free performance by the choir tonight. This will be held at 7pm at Life Church.
A big thank you goes to Harbour Community Church for arranging it and allowing us all to attend.
