Victorian Walk around Folkestone

To kick start our term, Year 5 took a walk along the Leas to look at all the magnificent Victorian architecture. We looked carefully at the bandstand, The Grand and The Metropole and looked for the different features such as window shapes and rooftops. Of course, as it was sunny, we had to have a little walk to the coastal park and finish off with a refreshing ice-lolly at Miss Laws’ bench. The behaviour was impeccable and it was a pleasure to spend the morning out with the children.
