Even though this post is a little late, we couldn’t miss the chance to share our Valentine’s Day celebrations in Ducklings!
To make the day extra special, Mrs Purver had a secret surprise planned for the children. Before the big day, she gave each parent a paper heart and asked them to write something they love about their child or something that makes them proud.
On the last day of term, we read these special messages to the children. It was so heartwarming to see their faces light up as they heard the kind words from their families. Some were beaming with pride, others had big, happy smiles and a few even gave little giggles of joy.
The children then got to take their hearts home—a beautiful keepsake filled with love from their families. It was such a wonderful way to celebrate the true meaning of Valentine’s Day: showing love, kindness and appreciation for one another. ❤️
We hope everyone had a love-filled day, just like we did!
