Last Tuesday Year 6 went to the Science Museum in London to enhance this years topics. We travelled by coach and luckily for us the driver knew London very well and pointed out all the landmarks for us! We managed to get around all the exhibitions and we found the Mathematics room to be the most interesting. It showed us the way numbers are used in our everyday lives and what we do not even realise to be maths. The space room is always amazing and that little piece of moon rock is fascinating. The last room we visited was called 'Who am I?' This was an interactive room where the children could test out certain things and analyse their eyes and hands.
It was a great day and the behaviour was exemplary, especially as it took so long to get back home.
