Science Museum Trip Year 5

This week, Year 5 took a trip to the science museum in London.

The children were extremely excited to see the many different weird and wonderful artefacts and exhibitions. Our main focus was space and the children enjoyed looking at the evolution of the rocket and why it has changed. They also enjoyed looking at how space suits have changed over time- especially the toilet facilities!

Another particular highlight was 'Making The Modern World'. Again, the children loved seeing how different items have changed over time. In particular, the size of televisions! It prompted a lot of interesting discussions to say the least!

We ended our day in the interactive sections of the museums- I think this may have been the children's favourite part.

The children behaved beautifully and were complimented by members of the public. Well done Year 5 and thank you for a fantastic day!
