This week, year 5 created some amazing pieces of art in RE. We discussed the importance of symbols in religion. We looked carefully at The Star of David and how this is the symbol of the nation and identity of the Jewish people.
There are a number of meanings behind the Star of David but the main idea is that the two overlapping triangles represent the relationship between man and God. As you can see, the art work looks beautiful! Well done Year 5.
