Today in Geography, the children used the Office of National Statistics, to examine the population density across the UK. The children had great fun locating the most heavily populated areas of the UK and the areas with the lowest population density per square kilometre. The highest area found had a density of 492,500 people per square kilometre. The lowest density was located in a rural area with a density of 2 people. The children had great fun exploring the different areas and comparing them.
