Pirate Treasure In Eagles Class

Something exciting and mysterious happened in Eagles Class today. Mrs Jacobs came to say the postman had delivered a very strange looking letter, she read out the letter and it was from a pirate called Jim! The letter said that he needed help because another pirate, who was nasty and cruel had taken something special from him. The cruel pirate had left us some clues to work out where the item was, it didn't take the Eagles long to figure out where to go and look. We went out to the playground, found a small wooden chest hidden, took it inside the classroom where it was safe to open it and discovered some jewels and coins inside. We are waiting to find out if pirate Jim will return for his chest or if anything else mysterious will happen, but for now we are keeping the treasure safe.
