Owls this term have been focusing on the story of Paddington Bear. We had a very exciting start to our new topic when a mysterious suitcase was brought to our classroom by Mrs Jacobs, and it was addressed to us! Once we had figured out who it was from, we had one question left to answer... Where is Paddington Bear? We made some really good guesses, and even looked at train timetables to see when he might arrive.
The next morning we had some clues left in our classroom. We followed them all the way around the school and eventually found... Paddington Bear! Since then, we have been reading his diary entry that he left us and getting to know it really well. We have started brainstorming for our own ideas for a diary entry as if we were Paddington Bear.
