This week we celebrated Number Day by answering the register with our favourite numbers, lucky numbers and numbers that we don't like. It was interesting how numbers mean so much to us in different ways.
In the afternoon we spoke more about how Maths and numbers can make us feel different emotions. Some children were able to talk about how much they enjoy working with numbers and learning new ways to solve problems, whilst for others numbers can make them feel overwhelmed and having to work quickly to find an answer can make them feel anxious. We learnt that our feelings are all valid and we can use them to help us.
