Today year 2 had a fun full day of DT and their task was to create a moving monster. The children were taught about what a mechanism is and the difference between a lever and a linkage.
The children then had the opportunity to create a linkage following instructions. Next, the children were able to design their monster, as well as include a linkage to help it move.
The children came up with some fantastic designs for their moving monsters.
