Howlers are sent in Year 6!

This week we have started to dip into the Harry Potter series. We have been discussing the need for letters and how it makes us feel when we get something through the post. Obviously in the fantasy world of Harry Potter, all the mail arrives by owl! We have written a formal letter to Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, to ask if he would accept the children into his school. We then went on and had a bit of fun writing Howlers, which can be very stern and loud! We each wrote our own howler to somebody in the book that deserved to be told off. They all then read them out in the same strict voice. They are now hanging in the classroom as our display.
