The Ducklings class had a wonderful time learning about Chinese New Year, exploring the rich traditions and celebrations associated with this important holiday. The children listened to traditional Chinese music, which helped them appreciate the rhythm and instruments used in Chinese culture. They also learned about the various ways Chinese New Year is celebrated, such as with decorations, parades and family gatherings. The class even had the opportunity to try some delicious Chinese food, broadening their taste experiences. To finish off their celebration, the children created their own music and dance, which they proudly performed for the rest of the school. This hands-on learning experience gave the Ducklings a deeper understanding of Chinese New Year while allowing them to express their creativity and cultural appreciation.
