Confirmation

Following a tasty Lubens' pizza lunch with Bishop Rose, this afternoon we held a confirmation service in the Church. Some children were baptised first at the font, and then went on to being confirmed into the ‘ONE BODY’ along with the rest of the candidates. The service ran very smoothly with Bible readings, processions, responses, prayers and some great singing led by our worship leaders. Bishop Rose confirmed each person individually and they each received their first Holy Communion. Near the end of the service, the newly confirmed candidates accepted a candle that they had decorated themselves ready for the big event. Thank you to Mrs. Adlington for leading the children through their confirmation lessons and for the organisation of the service.
