Clay Club

This term children from Years 1 and 2 signed up for a Clay Club with Mrs. Degroot and it has been going brilliantly! We have both been very impressed! The children started off by exploring the clay and creating pinch pots, practising their rolling and pinching techniques. The children have also been creating coiled pots which saw them rolling sausage shapes and coiling them around to create a vessel. Last week the children experimented with texture and used some of the interesting tools and seashell collections to add texture to their pieces. Just wait till you see the final results in a few weeks time.
