The Ducklings class had an exciting trip to St Eanswythe's Church this week, where they explored the stunning historical artwork displayed throughout the building. The children were curious and eager to learn, asking thoughtful questions about the paintings and stained glass windows, which helped deepen their understanding of the church's rich history. During the visit, the class also had their RE lesson in the church, reflecting on the story of Zacchaeus and Jesus. They discussed the themes of forgiveness and change, drawing connections between the story and their own lives. The experience brought the lesson to life in a meaningful way, allowing the children to engage with both the history of the church and the important moral lessons from the Bible. It was a wonderful opportunity to blend learning about art, history and spirituality in one immersive experience.
