It was Year 6's turn for beach school this week and so we donned our wet weather clothes and headed for the Sunny Sands! Our session this week was all about well-being and exploring our surroundings. We were so lucky to have the sands to ourselves and the tide was still going out so we had a bit of a trek to the water to fill our buckets. The children enjoyed rock-pooling, where they found a lot of crabs this time, writing in the sand and creating their own rock pools and sandcastles. We were lucky with the weather as it was only drizzling with rain and the sun kept popping out to remind us it was still there! A very relaxing and calm visit.
