This week, our Year 4 class put on their aprons and rolled up their sleeves for a fun and tasty project: baking biscuits! It wasn’t just about following a recipe – the children also learned how to adapt and create their own unique versions. Here’s a peek into our delicious day in the classroom.
Once the biscuits were shaped and ready, they went into the oven. The classroom quickly filled with the delicious smell of freshly baked treats and the children could hardly wait to try their creations.
When the biscuits were done, we had a wonderful tasting session. The excitement and pride on their faces as they shared their biscuits with classmates was priceless.
This activity wasn’t just about baking – it was also a chance to practise teamwork, creativity and problem-solving. The children learned about measuring ingredients, following instructions and making adjustments when things didn’t go as planned.
