A trip to Port Lympne Zoo - Year 2

On Thursday, year 2 headed to Port Lympne Zoo by bus. We started our time at the zoo by going on a safari experience and seeing rhinos, giraffes, water buffalos and a zebra. Afterwards, the children had lunch and time to play in the park. Lots of the children were trying out the monkey bars... Even Miss Giles had a go. We then set off to explore the rest of the zoo seeing lots of different types of monkeys along the way. When we reached the orangutans, they were nowhere to be seen but year 2 were told to be quiet. Then, all of a sudden they appeared which the children were very excited about! We all had a great day out at the Zoo.
